Field Day takes place each year on the fourth full weekend in June. This year the event was held June 26-27.

CMRA met at the Rock Bridge State Park, south of the Ranger Station at the top of the hill. We ran as a 3A club, meaning we had 3 stations on the air, running on alternate power sources using temporary, portable setups. Our particular setup included:

• An FT8 digital station
• A SSB voice station
• A CW morse code station

These were our point scoring stations, but we also had a Get On The Air (GOTA) station running and K0PHP had a demonstration station doing satellite work.

For power we had 2 portable generators running, and our SSB station was running on N0AXZ’s RV.

We managed to survive the heat and had lots of community members come visit and chat; overall it was a good time.
