On October 17, 2026, CMRA members demonstrated the exciting world of amateur radio as part of the annual Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) event, during which scouts from around the world get on the air and connect with each other. CMRA members have participated in JOTA for several years, working with scouts of all ages. This year, the newly chartered sea scout unit (Ship 73) organized radio-themed activities for local packs and troops at the Pinnacles Youth Park in Sturgeon, Missouri.
