License Testing

ARRL FCC VE testing for new amateur licenses and upgrades will be conducted each third Tuesday evening of the month at 6:30 PM.

We request you visit HamStudy.org, and use the Find A Session button to register for a testing day and time. Walk-ins are still accepted, but registration is highly recommended. We will continue with paper testing for 2025, and move to electronic testing in 2026.

Test sessions are held at Parkade Plaza at 601 Business Loop I-70 West, Columbia, MO. Park on the east side of the mall, near Parkade Blvd. Use the East Mall Entrance. Go to the stairs, straight ahead, in the middle of mall and go downstairs (Elevator next to stairs). Go to door labeled “MACC 200 – 224” (straight ahead from bottom of stairs). Enter the door, then go to room B34.

If you are getting a new license or upgrading your license, you will need a FCC FRN number, $15 cash or check and a photo ID. If you already have a license, please bring a copy.

Please contact Bob, AE0UB with any questions or to make testing arrangements.
