For the past several years CMRA members have provided communication support for the annual Froze Toes Bike Race held in late February. See the account of the 2014 event from Bill, N0AXZ, when you click here.
CMRA Club Station Forced to Move
The American Red Cross on Worley advised us the first week of December 2013 that their building had been sold and they had to vacate by the end of the month, which means we did also. Several volunteers pitched in at various times throughout the month and did a great deal of hard work to pack up and move the equipment and other club property in the club station.
For the time being, there is no longer a CMRA club station. It is hoped one can be put back together in a location to be determined by the club at a later time.
This affects license testing as well. If you or someone you know needs to test or upgrade, contact AC0G so arrangements can be made. See the Public Service page for his contact info.
More to come as the situation develops.
